The case for ethno-nationalism in Britain
What are the goals of ethno-nationalists?
Ethno-nationalists want to preserve Britain's indigenous people (the white British). This does not mean every single person in Britain must be English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish but they should be a super majority. We want to close the borders and reverse demographic shifts by removing illegals, first generation criminals, and offer financial incentives so other ethnic groups consider returning to their ancestral homelands. We believe the destiny of the indigenous people should be in their own hands.
Why do ethno-nationalists reject civic nationalism?
Civic nationalism is assimilation to ideals and values. Civic nationalism does not work because a nation's ideals and values cannot be enforced, and values can also be changed or ignored depending on who is in charge. For example, if the British value "rule of law" is so important to our political class then why aren't illegals arrested and deported?
"Democracy" is another British value but if people of immigrant descent wanted a non-democratic government (such as a theocracy) then they could simply lie on a citizenship test, or remain undetected, and subvert the nation. Another problem with civic nationalism is what happens to those who do not adopt our values? You cannot justify stripping people of their citizenship for their beliefs so civic nationalism does not have an effective immune system, or peaceful solution for those who don't adopt our values. Ironically, a very authoritarian government would be required to instill and enforce belief in the value of democracy.
Furthermore, we believe there is much more to a nation's character which is a product of the ethnic group's genetics. Australia has a similar culture to Britain because it was created by people of the same ethnic stock. Our 'British' values of democracy, rule of law and tolerance are shared with many Western nations. So what is the difference between Britain and France or Germany since all 3 countries share these generic values? Britain should not be reduced to vague and simplistic values, which are interchangeable with many other nations, because Britain will lose its unique character and culture.
There are also ethnic and racial disparities in average IQ. The differences are mostly genetic. In general, nations with an average IQ below 90 are not peaceful and prosperous. According to Garett Jones’s "Hive Mind" the prosperity of a nation is closely tied to its average national IQ. Richard Lynn's "IQ and the Wealth of Nations" found IQ strongly correlates with law-abidingness, health, life expectancy and GDP per capita. Therefore, immigration from the 3rd world should be rejected. Africans and Middle Easterners may be good people but they have average IQs in the 70s and 80s. It should also be pointed out that ethnic and racial diversity isn't a strength.
Another problem is voting patterns with more than 75% of non-natives voting for a far left party. ~66% of vote for the Labour party and a further 10%+ vote Lib Dem. According to 2014 research by Demos "two thirds of non-white voters supported Labour, which received the backing of just one in five white British voters." In the 2010 election, 68% of ethnic minorities voted for Labour (and 14% for the Lib Dems.) In the 2019 election 64% of BAME minorities voted Labour (and 12% for the Lid Dems.)
Finally, people of immigrant descent also will be tend to be tribal and work to undermine the ethnocentrism of the indigenous people. Examples include David Lammy, Ash Sakar, Angela Saini, Afua Hirsch, Dianne Abbott and Gary Younge. These people will switch between identities when it is convenient for them. For example, David Lammy is African when he wants to blame the British for the empire. But he will also claim to be British when he wants to more African or non-white immigration. Civic nationalism fails because people will vote in their ethnic groups interest and ethnic identity often trumps national identity.
